The Snail and the Whale Digital Field Trip
From Tall Stories, the popular London based theatre company that last visited the Paramount in 2015 with Room on the Broom, comes a new adaptation of another popular Julia Donaldson / Axel Scheffler children’s book, The Snail and the Whale. Filmed in November 2020 specifically for a digital presentation, The Snail and the Whale tells the story of an unlikely friendship. Longing to see the world, the tiny sea snail hitches a lift on the tail of a great, grey-blue humpback whale. Together they go on an amazing journey, told through live cello music and singing, storytelling and lots of laughs… but when the whale gets beached, how will the snail save him?
