Isa Medina is an LA-based Latinx comedian, filmmaker and writer originally from Bogota, Colombia. Isa is the co-host of Sounds Like A Cult [open.spotify.com] – a Top Podcast of 2022 by Vulture [vulture.com], Esquire [esquire.com], Wired [wired.com] and Time Magazine [time.com]. In the fall of 2021, Isa opened for George Lopez and is a regular on the all-latinx Laugh Factory showcase Brown-ish [instagram.com] with Erik Rivera. In 2022, Isa Performed at Netflix Is A Joke Festival [netflixisajokefest.com] on their all latinx showcase, Spanglish. She also recorded an episode of her podcast Sounds Like A Cult, for Netflix Is A Joke Festival with comedian Mae Martin [youtube.com]. She just wrapped up a month of stand-up comedy at Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s where she performed at the historic Gilded Balloon Teviot. In the Winter of 2023 you can catch her at SF Sketchfest [sfsketchfest.com] performing in both the prestigious Studio Sets showcase and the all Latino “Donde Esta Mi Comedy?” showcase.
