2023 Club Series Performer

Actor, comedian and writer Guy Branum recently starred in Universal’s rom-com Bros opposite Billy Eichner, which he also co-produced. Bros is the first gay rom-com from a major theatrical studio featuring an all-LGBTQ+ principal cast. He is also a writer and consulting producer on the new Amazon Prime series A League of their Own, inspired by the iconic film. He is currently working as a writer and Co-Executive Producer on the Emmy nominated HBO Max series Hacks.

Guy just finished shooting a supporting role on the new Apple TV+ comedy Platonic, starring Seth Rogan and Rose Byrne. Platonic will premiere next Spring.

Guy previously created and hosted truTV’s Talk Show The Game Show, a talk show/game show mashup that pits comedians and celebrities against each other for the title of “Best Guest of the Night.” He is a writer, Co-Executive Producer and cast member on the new Mel Brooks variety series History of the World, Part II alongside Nick Kroll, Wanda Sykes, and Ike Barinholtz. In 2018, Guy released his memoir My Life As A Goddess, a collection of essays described as “Wickedly smart, funny and witty” by Kirkus Reviews and which made NPR’s 2018 Good Reads List and Entertainment Weekly’s Must List. In the book, Guy dives into anti-fat bias and problematic representations of gays in media.
