I have a badge. Now what?

With two weeks of headliners in larger venues, like The Paramount Theatre, Stateside at the Paramount, and ACL Live at The Moody Theater, and a 4-day comedy club binge from April 19-22, you have the ability to build your own fest experience.

• Headliners: Want to see a headliner at the Paramount or Stateside Theatres? You’ll receive an email the day your badge holder presale starts with instructions and links to purchase tickets to all of the shows you want to see. Unsubscribed from our mailing list? Give us a call at (512) 474-1221 to get back on the list so you don’t miss a show!
• Club Shows: To see shows during the 4-day comedy club binge, all you have to do is show up with your badge! No tickets or reservations necessary* to catch the hottest acts in intimate club settings.

When will I receive my badge(s)?

If you’re heading to any headliner shows in Week 1 of the fest, all you’ll need is your ticket to the show. For Week 2’s comedy club binge, head over to our pickup windows at 804 Congress Avenue to get your badges starting Wed, April 19th. Badge pickup will be open at the following dates and times:

Can I buy single tickets to club shows?

Yes, but they will not be guaranteed entry. All badge holders will receive priority access to all club shows. Single ticket holders will be seated 10 minutes prior to the start of the show in remaining available seats. If no seats are available, ticket purchasers will be refunded.
 

What about age restrictions? Can underage patrons get into shows?

There is no age restriction on the festival as a whole and minors can purchase badges or single tickets to the Paramount shows. However, some of our Moontower venues are 18+ and, due to their liquor licensing/permit, are not able to let in underage patrons regardless of the event.

What time do doors open for performances?

If you’re attending the first show of the night at the Paramount or Stateside Theatres, doors will open one hour before showtime. We recommend getting there early and enjoying a drink. After that, typically doors will open 30 minutes prior to showtime. Other venues will open doors 30 minutes before showtime for all shows. These are rules of thumb only and actual times may vary by venue depending on size.
 

Are badges refundable?

All sales are final. There are no refunds on badges for any reason.
 

How do I volunteer?

Can I upgrade my badge?

Email info@old.austintheatre.org for inquiries regarding upgrading your badge. As long as the other levels are not sold out, we should be able to accommodate.
 

Where do I submit materials to be considered as a performer at the festival?
